It's a very good but it also looks like it might be an Egyptian "Seti"... An Avatar for the God "Set", "Seth" or "Seti", The names for Egyptian gods are all messed up (even Ra).When you're only reading a dead language & have no idea what it sounds like when spoken, there's a lot of room for argumennt (& there's nothing Academics like more).
Anyway: The greatest gods like the godess of night or Ra/Re/Ahmun Ra (you get the idea) were represented by heavenly elements such as stars, the sun, the moon & even rainbows. However all the major gods that "walked the earth" we're represented by an animal & Set was no exception... Except that modern humans cannot recognise his animal Avatar as any animal living now. They don't know if they went extinct or if the animal was a mythical creature (like seeing a Unicorn in a dream is supposed to be the same as seeing Jesus). Whatever this creature is (if it's not a Seti) it's really well done
